This is a two part question. Hypothetically speaking, if I had 20 different properties that I did short term rentals with, is there the potential to create a personal branded website where people could book my rentals directly from my website? If so, is there existing software/programs that would allow my website to two-way sync with other booking sites such as Airbnb and VRBO so when someone books one of my rentals on my website, it automatically updates with Airbnb/VRBO for the sake of taking those days out of the inventory and then the opposite occurs, when someone makes a reservation/booking on Airbnb/VRBO (assuming my properties are listed on those sites), it automatically updates my website with the new booking? Want to know if this is even possible.

@Dallin Andrus definitely. There’s a variety of 3rd party services that offer to sync across platforms like AirBnB and HomeAway, but of course that capability is already built into each if the major sites anyway so don’t pay for that. AirBnB also can now have related listings (say rooms in house) where booking one listing blocks another.
The private branded options work the same: using the standard ICS calendar feed to block off availability. Options here are many and there’s not a one size fits all.
