Hi BP Columbus! I'm a RE investor from Southern California who is looking for opportunities out of state. From my research online, I like what I am seeing about Columbus in terms of growth trends and am hoping to connect with some seasoned folks in the area to get a better sense of zip codes, districts, cash flow, etc. Looking forward to connect!

Paging @Remington Lyman...

Simon, I'm an LA investor and came to the same conclusion as you. I've decided to keep my capital in LA, but were I to go out-of-state, I'd go to Columbus and I'd work with Remington.

Best of luck!

Jon

Columbus is a great city. It has been attracting a lot of investors lately because of the nice combination of cash flow and appreciation. Good luck with the process! @Simon Chang

@Simon Chang Columbus is an excellent city to invest in! We have appreciation, cash flow, and enough breweries to last a lifetime. My investments here have appreciated more then $100k in the past year and have earned net cash flow of more then $1500/month!

Hey @Simon Chang I'm an investor here in Columbus and as you can see from the responses already you're on a great track looking in our city to invest.

As mentioned we boast a great combination of appreciation and cash flow. Not only that, it has what I would consider the "Big Four" that makeup the backbone of a strong, stable economy when looking for a city to invest:

1. State Government (Capital city) 2. Major University (Ohio State) 3. Major Insurance (Nationwide) 4. Strong Healthcare (Cardinal Health, OhioHealth, Nationwide Children's Hospital)

I'd be happy to connect and be of assistance if you need any "boots on the ground" from someone who was born and raised here.

Either way, good luck my friend!

Cheers.

Pat

North Linden, South of Main, Vassor Village, Woodland Park, MT Vernon, Milo-Grogan, Franklinton, Merrion Village, Hungarian Village, Southern Orchards, Driving Park, Olde Towne East, Franklin Park, King Lincoln, Old Oaks, Livingston Park are all but not limited to some areas in Columbus, Ohio I think will gentrify quickly and make for great long term buy and holds.

Columbus is great BUT I’ve read there is a growing problem with prostitution.

You need to teach them how to scale. What was your secret?

I'm partial to the neighborhoods east and south of downtown. Merion Village, Hungarian Village, Old Town East, Franklin Park, Southern Orchards, South of Southern Orchards, South of Main, Old Oaks, King Lincoln, Milo Grogan  etc.

These neighborhoods like most of Columbus are appreciating rapidly while also cash flowing well.

Good luck on your search and reach out if you need help!
