Costco flooring vs Home Depot lifeproof??

Rick Guerrero
Posted

I need to re- floor my duplex, investment property. Anyone have any experience with the Costco flooring? I’ve read a ton of great reviews in here on the Home Depot life proof flooring. Going the direction of Costco would save me 1500+. How does it compare??

You get what you pay for. Even the cheaper Depot products that look similar scratch if you look at them funny and won't last one turn over

I've bought expensive engineered hardwood before that was scratch resistant. People that don't give a sh!t about your floor will find a way to scratch it. That's life. The last laminate I bought at HD for $0.99 sf was really durable and I would absolutely buy it again. I don't recall any details about it though, other than the price.

@Rick Guerrero I wish there were more responses to this post. I am in the same spot deciding between costco and lifeproof.

Would love to hear which direction you went and how it's holding up
