Rehab order of operations
Hi BP, I have a question about rehab order of things. If I'm doing a mostly cosmetic reno on a home including a new roof, what order should I tackle task? Demo is first of course and then what? I was thinking roof because when you do your demo and have your dumpster, you want to get that old Roof debris as well. I was thinking your floors should be last so they dont get damaged while all the work is getting done. I'm using my logic not my experience to come up with this but I'm hoping to get some insight from experienced BP members on the oder of opperations for attacking a rehab.
thanks in advance.
Nice, thanks!
Awesome chart thanks
I know this is an old thread...Just curious what is the exact title of the book this chart came from? Thanks!
Are you saying that you wouldn't start Demo until you have done all of the Exterior items on this list? Windows alone takes sometimes 2 weeks to come in before they can be installed. I don't see how starting interior demo and framing or rough-in work would be in the way of doing exterior work?
