Who’s in the Longview Texas area?

Hey guys I currently live in the Longview area and I've been following BiggerPockets as close as possible. I've noticed there haven't been any posts in the area for sometime. I'm curious if there are any active members in the area. I'm completely new to REI. I have been educating myself as much as possible while on the road working in the Oil Field. I guess my question is how is the East Texas market? If we do have active members in the area where are you finding the most success? I'm currently getting some ducks in a row then my wife and I are looking to buy and hold SFHs or small MFHs. Any advice or insight will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
