Drunk posting on Bigger Pockets
Just out of curiosity, have you ever been guilty of PWI (Posting While Intoxicated) in the BiggerPockets forums? Bonus points for PWH stories.

We are, granted, not generally perceived as a deeply inhibited and socially reserved people when sober. Some might say. Perhaps.
Well that explains some stuff for me. My sister married into a Greek family and I never could figure out why none of them drink much and why the rest of us receive the stink-eye when we do. Must be really annoying for them to come to our German get together's - lol.

A glass of wine a day might help my cold heart. Doctors said that. And I believe it
Who am I to disagree with lifesaving medical advice?
Once I figure out how to type one-handed, I can start posting without asking the wife to hold my beer...
@Jim K. Some of the responses I see on forums make me wonder the same thing!

Oh, I think I know a number of people here who are quite adept at pounding their keyboards with one hand while pounding something else with the other, but let's not name names...

Are we still talking about drinking, Jim?
@Bjorn Ahlblad
That reminds me of one of my favorite jokes...
A guy is sitting in a tree stand hunting when a big old black bear comes out in front of him about 100 yards. He shoots, gets out of his stand, and walks over to claim his kill. He is looking around at the spot where he was sure he hit the bear and all of a sudden feels tap, tap, tap on his shoulder from behind. He turns around and i's the black bear. The bear gets up on his hind paw and roars at him, "Give it up, or DIE." The hunter, caught off guard, is defenseless. He doesn't want to die, so he gives it up to the bear.
After giving it up to the bear, he is MAD . So he sits in the same place to gain vengeance. Low and behold, that same big black bear walks by at the same spot. BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM!!! Our hunter unloads his gun, sure that he has killed the bear. He runs to the spot of the kill...no bear. All of sudden, tap, tap, tap on the shoulder. He turns around with an empty gun and hears, "Give it up, or DIE."
Third day. After the purchase of an assault rife with a 30 round banana clip, our hero is in the stand again. Lo and behold, here comes that same black bear tromping down the same trail. The hunter flips to full auto and starts firing. Bushes flying, trees falling, the hunter unloads his gun knowing that he could have never missed the bear in such a flurry of gun fire. He runs down to the spot with the anticipation of redemption...no bear.
Tap, tap, tap.
The bear is standing behind him, shaking his head. "You're not out here for the hunting, are you?"

Well as I write this its about 11pm & I'm in the back of an Uber driving home from a party after enjoying a few drinks.......Nowhere near enough drinks to think / do anything crazy like invest with Morris or anything, but a few.
Oh man, last night was bad...I don't remember where I was, my face feels like there's a tattoo on it, I don't know why my junk smells so nasty, and there's this note on Google Calendar for an MI consultation...I need help, I need a meeting!!!

Seriously, I've been sober for 10 years now. Had I been on here pre-2009, it would not have been good.
Philosophical and sappy essays would have abounded with 80s ballads blaring in the background for the full experience. Que Streets of Lonely Hearts by Slaughter for effect.
Glad you post grounded, Jim. Scary sometimes:), but glad. I enjoy your knowledge and opinions.
Love 80's ballads, sober or not so sober they are pretty awesome. What are some of your favs? Personally I am really into Bryan Adams.

Nice, Jim. Bryan Adams, Journey, Foreigner all good stuff. For real sap check out Air Supply and Chicago.
I'll list a few of my favorite 80s ballads. Normally hard rockers with a good slow song thrown in:
Cinderella - Don't Know What You Got
Skid Row- Wasted Time
Kiss- Beth (late 70s)
Ozzy-- Mama I'm Coming Home (early 90s)
Tesla - Love Song
Warrant - Heaven
Whitesnake - Is This Love
and Aldo Nova - Foolin' Yourself & Ball and Chain. Fantasy is also a great tune but not a ballad. Thanks for the trip down memory lane 👍

Ohh dude Air Supply is good stuff. Don't forget about Richard Marx. When I am especially in my feels I turn to the 90's and hit up my girl's Toni Braxton and Celine Dion.
Ain't lived till you've seen a talented intepretation of Total Eclipse of the Heart on the pole. I'm all about the bright spots in bad memories.
For myself I don’t drink. Over 20 years ago I had a coming to Jesus moment literally. I had some of my buddies go to rehab and such for substance. My grandfather was a drunk and my dad lived in fear and had to grow up very early. My older brother was a drunk and hung out with losers. I hung out with losers and was considered a looser as well. I had a real life faith experience in 1991. I repented and received the Holy Spirit at a Faith based Meeting. For me I had to be all in or all out in my faith/ repentance commitment. Not sure how folks came call themselves Christians and promoted things that is clearly denounced in the Old Testament & New Testament.
