One of my favorite sales stories is with Henry Ford (one of the richest men of his time ) He would play golf with his buddy ( A insurance broker ) for many years . The insurance broker was reading the newspaper one week , that stated that Henry just bought the largest life policy ever sold … All upset , at the next game he asked Henry “ I don’t understand , I thought we were buddy’s , why didn’t you buy the policy from me ? Henrys answer was classic “ You never asked “
