Some words of encouragement for all you new investors just like me.

When we create an account on any social networking site we decide, do add a picture to the profile. It just makes it look a whole lot more professional and attractive to those, like myself, who try to build a network web.

Don't just build an impressive account, with a huge professional background and, then, go dormant.I'm really scared too, but, honestly, what's the worst that can happen...look stupid, you say! So what! I'm new to this and not trying to impress anyone, I'm just being myself and, in the meantime, become smarter. As Benjamin Franklin said "We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid."

Do Dream! But, more importantly, learn to be specific! What I mean is change "I want to own eight to ten rental properties in two years" to "By December 2016 I want to own ten properties of $50000-$100000 each with a positive cash flow of amount (you decide)". We gotta be specific in our goals which will, consequently, help attain our dream.

Do talk a lot! I mean don't just talk about everything and anything! Talk as much as you can and with as many as you can and wherever you can about your passion (REI). Even though, at the beginning, we might not know too much, people will be drawn by our passion; they will remember us. We can't let our enthusiasm die.

We need to be familiar with the whole RE spectrum but, at least at the beginning, we chose one, maximum two REI venues (Ex:Rehabbing and Lease Option). We become experts at that and add to our arsenal later, if we chose to.

We must continuously read and educate ourselves, but we CANNOT wait until we feel we know everything! We must act as Doing is the best Learning! So what if we fail? It is not how many times we fail that matters but how many times we rise to the challenge again.Eventually we'll keep rising without falling, or, paraphrasing Babe Ruth "with every strike I'm getting closer to the home run."

So, let's keep each other motivated! Good things will happen to us!

I would love any motivational advice! What keeps you motivated?
