Annoying Profile Pics - Am I The Only One?

Am I the only one who finds sideways or upside down profile pics annoying on here? Esp. the new folks. How are we supposed to get to know your face and we have to sprain our necks to see who you are?

Or is it that folks are just confused about properly scanning, editing and posting their profile pics?

I've been told mine is deceptive. I'm hard to recognize without a beanie and sunglasses on I suppose....

Anson yours is cool imo. All you have to do is wear it to the next convention and you're good. lol - But HTH is someone with an upside down pic going to be recognized?

Maybe its like putting the ad in the newspaper upside down. Makes you look harder and gets your attention. Just a thought.

Agreed Ibrahim S., if you are not careful you will end up with a sore neck from all those sideways and upside pictures.

I do find profile pictures to be fascinating in general though.

You know James....I feel that way about facebook. I love profile pics and creative cover photos with children, Grandparents/elders, Historical figures of importance, nature etc. Anything but the actual person. I think it says a lot for someone to NOT make themselves the center of attention on their facebook pic and page. That's just me. But when it comes to business on BP, I just don't think there's any point to make someone go out of their way to see what they look like or (for Phillip Cailey) what their marketing message looks like. The easier and more straight forward you are in your total communication, the easier you get your message across imo.

Again, this is just me who may just be struggling with his OCD.

Ha, you wouldn't like my Facebook page Ibrahim S. I use Facebook to chronicle the things I have done, places I have been, etc, almost like an electronic scrapbook. I wouldn't say I am trying to be the center of attention though, just a way to share experiences with friends and family and have a quick way to look back on things.
