I just wanted to say that 5 years after 9/11, I'm still shocked by the horrors that took place in my hometown, NYC. Many good people died beacuse there is too mauch hate in this world. If we, the human race, are to survive, we must find some way to stop all of this fighting, & hatred and come together.

Although it was one of the worst tragedies our country has seen, it brought a little sunshine . . . I don't know if you all remember, but for a while after 9/11, people were good to one another. I've never seen anything like it, before or since. It was really strange, but it was proof of how good things can be if we embrace one another. I hope everyone takes some time tommorrow to bring back that feeling. Be kind. Help your neighbor. Smile and say hello to someone you don't know. Try it!

I just wanted to take a minute to remember the people I know who passed away, and thank god that many of my other friends were able to get away safely.
