Real Estate Analytical Career Options

Hi all,

I'm reaching out to see if anyone knows of a less common, analytical career in real estate.  I badly want to turn 40+ hours of my week from a 9-5 job to an incredible and immersive learning experience that I can leverage to invest in real estate.  I'm not interested in the common careers that fall within real estate such as an agent, appraiser, loan officer etc.

Currently I work at a bank (which may be a good place to look for this opportunity as well) in a quantitative role where my main function is to analyze the risk of various portfolios. This is a very analytical role which also requires using Excel and Tableau to translate my findings into visualizations and graphics for line of business heads and upper management.

I'd be so thrilled if someone could expose me to a position I'm not aware of that could blend my skill set with my passions and give me an opportunity to further my knowledge in the subject matter.  I have been digging around the internet and haven't had much luck finding anything because I'm assuming they're uncommon roles, but I know they're out there.

Thanks so much!
