I don't know if this is allowed here.  I hope it is allowed.

Here is the story. I am an investor who currently lives in South Korea.

I also help with animal rescue here. My dog Charlie is a rescue that I got here.

Now for the sad/bad news.

A local city pound, Ulsan City, is planning to kill 400 dogs to get their numbers down to 100 by December 31st.  This way the shelter can be sustainable.  Sadly because they are over populated with 400 dogs the dogs that are there are not as well as taken care of as they should be either.

There is a push by the rescue community to save as many dogs as we can. The vast majority of the volunteers are English teachers like myself, and have limited financial resources. Many of the volunteers are willing to take in another animal, but simply cannot afford to take care of another animal. The plan is to find sponsors for the dogs and help people willing to foster. This money goes directly to helping with getting vet health checks, updating vaccines, buying food, beds, etc.

No one gets paid for what they do here. It all goes taking care of the animals.

If there is a way you could donate a little money, even a Dollar, $1 could make a huge difference as we try to save as many of these dogs as possible.

If you are willing to make a larger commitment and adopt a dog or cat from Korea. That can arranged, it has been done before.
