Greetings From Louisville, KY
Hello Everyone!
First off I would like to say I'm extremely excited to be a part of this community. I'm really looking forward to learning from you guys and hopefully one day be able to give some knowledge back!
So, I just recently started working at a factory in my town, and although it's far from my dream job, it does pay decent. My fiance and I have been looking into buying our first home and all of the research and property hunting has really sparked an interest in real estate.
Yeah so that's basically it. I'm 23 years old, eager to learn, and searching for a passion. Hopefully one that can maybe some day lead me out of the career I'm currently in.
Can't wait to get to know you!
From another Louisvillian...welcome Jeffrey. I think you're very fortunate to have discovered this site at the outset of your real estate journey. I wish I had, but better late than never! The forums are addicting but don't forget about the blogs and articles as well. So much information here, it's mind-blowing. Also, this is a great place to build a network of local colleagues with whom to share ideas. In fact I'll send you a colleague request as soon as I finish this paragraph. Good luck and have fun :)

I think it is great to hear when someone takes an opportunity and works to make even larger opportunities, so congratulations on that, that really says something about your character and ambition. Marc Bodinger I'm leaning towards flipping, possibly a live in flip for my first home to get my feet wet. If it doesn't go as planned I can still haver a home to live in. As far as the market in Louisville, I think it is doing pretty decent. A top 10 healthiest real estate market for 2013 according to http://trends.truliablog.com/2012/12/2013-top-10-healthiest-housing-markets/. Not Sure how much water that holds.
