New investor-First deal under contract today. Help!
I’m Anthony from Mooresville, NC.
I just got into real estate investing and had my first offer accepted today. Looking to use the Brrrr strategy on a foreclosure I found on the mls. We had our prequalified letter together and our agent submitted our offer so well and organized that we were the 6th offer and not the highest but got the acceptance.
The property is 15min from our house in Salisbury, NC.
If anyone is in my neck of the woods and can recommend a great contractor I’m all ears.

@Anthony Giuffrida Hi neighbor. I know a lot of contractors but youre a bit of a drive away. My cousin who is a great contractor is only about 45 mins from there. If you would like, i can give you his info

@Anthony Giuffrida I'm in Mooresville. A good source for contractor information is the "Charlotte Real Estate Investors" group on Facebook. It has a very large and helpful membership. Good luck on your project.

Congratulations @Anthony Giuffrida! I've gotten so frustrated with searching for my first property on the MLS. Everything I find there is overpriced. You're success gives me some hope.
So we chose to back out of the deal after a structural report came back with costly repairs needed in the basement. The #’s were already looking tight and with the unknowns once the walls were opened we backed out. Kind of a bubble burster but still on the hunt for the next one.
Disappointing but better to walk away now..
Let’s hope the next one passes muster ..
