Just curious about turnkey investing and thoughts

Anyone know anything about a freedom founders mastermind group that invests in turnkey real estate put on by David Phelps?

After reading all the above posts, I would like to chime in a bit about Dr. David Phelps and Freedom Founders.

Let me share my experience. And yes, full disclosure,  I am a member of Freedom Founders presently.

I had heard of Dr. David Phelps, and his mastermind group called Freedom Founders from a friend in 2017. I was a tired dentist, with all my investable funds tied to the stock market. I was nervous of another 2008 crash, and did not have the energy nor the time to build up another retirement nest egg. I read David's books ahead of a call with him personally, and of course did my due diligence before speaking directly with David, and then I attended my first meeting. 

Some of my background, my father ( a financial advisor and CPA for 50 years) and his investment company associates were quite worried about this alternative investment space I was investigating, and I must say I was a bit leery myself. I was warned by all wall street "Wealth managers" to not pursue this investment space. But, I pressed on.

I decided to join the Freedom Founders mastermind group after my first meeting in 2018, and have followed David's path to financial freedom. I moved swiftly to implement the key principles David spoke about and taught. I have subsequently leveraged David's curated real estate connections to build a vast portfolio of multifaceted real estate investments, both debt and equity investments...that cash flow...monthly.

My portfolio has grown and includes cash flowing investments such as turnkey properties nationally, both short and long term lending deals, notes and collateral assignments, self storage investments, multifamily and commercial properties, tax liens investments, resort properties, and more as well as the formation of a robust Family Office to organize and direct these investment in the most prudent tax mitigated fashion.

The awesome part was all the resources were part of our group, in one place. I could discuss the legal, the accounting, the qualified funds and more with professionals that were all part of our group in real time. If I was to pay the normal hourly fee for all the great professionals at the meeting lending me there time and expertise, I am sure it would have been great.

I was taught by David and Freedom Founders, how to create monthly sustainable cash flow, how to do it in the most tax mitigated environment, how to hedge inflation, how to preserve principle ( I lost no money during the covid market crash due to David's and Freedom Founders wisdom), how to use infinite banking concepts, as well as create family offices and family legacy. 

And I also learned how to optimize my dental office and create traction in my practice, how to sell a business...and so much more than just the amazing real estate opportunities. 

To look at this group and only see real estate investing opportunities (which it has believe me!!!), but to look at just that...you would be missing the bigger more important facet of this mastermind group. And, unfortunately, some don't look to deep, and don't care to, and miss out on the colossal opportunity this community can give. Each member gives back to the mastermind community as well as learns from it, and if you are only joining to "TAKE", you won't be fully satisfied for that only goes so far in life. 

Yes, there is a cost to join an elite group of high net worth investors...but when I looked at what I pay a wealth investment manager in annual fees, or what I pay in taxation in long and short term capital gains in stock portfolios..and etc, it was cheaper to join Freedom Founders.

Try this, ask your "wealth manager", "what is the rate of return on my portfolio?".......but have then.....First,  weight it for Fees, Taxation, and Inflation.....then have them give you your rate of return. You will either not get that answer, or You will not be thrilled

So, for me, and and my experience in Freedom Founders,  I became a Free for Life member in 2020, which means my passive income is now greater that my active income, meaning my  passive income totally supports my monthly lifestyle expenses. I had reached my "number".

My " Freedom Number".

My monthly expenses number ( amount I pay per month to live) was now covered due to passive cash flow investing through Freedom Founders group.

This is Not just a number, its real and usable today to pay bills...and preserve principle. Not just the numbers I used to receive on a position statement from an advisor at, say, Fidelity , it is real , usable, sustainable,  monthly cash flow number, tied to capital assets, with downside protection, and tax mitigated, with an inflation hedge. 

Unlike my former stock portfolio, mind you. A sheet of paper every month.

And Wow, what a great day that was when I realized the cash flow and reaching my "number". I did not need to work...I could go be a great dentist because I wanted to....My world opened up, my stress levels dissolved. I became a better dentist, better father, a better husband, and now I could think about my next.

I could teach my kids a significant financial acumen, which I feel is missing in their education. 

I could tell them to not work for 40 years and THEN do what you want. Do it now!

For those Freedom Founders members who stay the course with David Phelps and his group, Freedom Founders, your life will change for the better, and it will be liberating, and on top of that, as an extra aside, you will also become financially free.

And NO.... before you ask or assume.....I don't get paid from Freedom Founders......LOL.......

But I gladly pay the membership fees to continue to grow in this group!
