New to Real Estate Investing in Beaverton, Oregon

Hello All,

I have had an interest in Real Estate for some time, been reading RE books across and just recently I have made the decision to take action and start off.

I have been trying to get educated primarily through books/audio etc. I have also been searching for meetups, events or anyone that can guide me towards the right direction and eventually get hold of a mentor. I am new to this field and I am looking out in every direction to help me get started and work with the right folks.

I am from Oregon, and my goal is to buy multi-home properties starting off with buying one this year if possible. In order to minimize my risks as I am very new to this, I am trying to search for a mentor who can help me work out the steps, get my hands dirty and create a system that I can replicate.

Any help that you guys provide will be really helpful as I am still trying to figure out how to start, who to meet and what questions to ask.

That is great that you feel like you are ready to take action. Although I have not done too many deals I would be happy to help. As a leasing agent and realtor I have learned a lot about the industry and helped a lot of people manage and buy investment properties. Are you considering house hacking for your first investment?
