I heard about the world of real estate investing a couple months ago and ever since then I've been reading books, listening to podcasts, and thinking about how I should get started. The area I'm most interested in is buy and hold rental properties.

I'd love to meet some fellow Austinites who are interested in real estate investing, whether they are veterans or still sitting on the sidelines like me! Does anyone have any recommendations of real estate meet ups in the Austin area or any blogs that discuss the Austin market?

@Kevin Aud Welcome to Bp. Buy and holds are proven winners in Austin area. There are several meetups that are good. I like the ones that @Costin I. puts on. I think that he is putting together one for w2 investors soon. Very smart guys/gals in the group.
