Military Veteran Transitioning to real estate

Hello Everyone,

My name is Stephen and I am a recent medically retired veteran. I've been out for almost a year and I went through the rough transition phase now and now I want to prosper. I've been watching countless videos and numerous hours listening to Podcast. However, I do not have the exact similarity's.  Im 25 years old and I am trying to generate Generational Wealth and brief others on the importance of financial freedom. I had bill collectors calling my house growing up and I never want to experience that again. I am 100% SCD which gives me a $3,300 a month and I am still able to get a job. God has blessed me so I never have to worry if good. I feel like I can help others achieve their dreams. Im from Camden, NJ which is one of the poorest cities in America. A city where everyone has a entrepreneurial trait  because we all just want to make it out. I want to help other entrepreneurs achieve their goals by helping in anyway. I want to learn Real Estate to fix abandon properties and turn it into a house where a family can't actually live comfortably. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions I have very thick skin but I Believe everything is a lesson and I learn from anything given to me. I am about to buy my first property and with my detailed story I would love to hear what peoples advice on what to do in my situation to make the best of it. Thank you !
