Hi all, I have been a real estate investor on accident for 15 years in SF Bay Area having turned a string of primary residences into rentals when I moved out. Now I am looking to become more intentional in my real estate investing, looking for out of area investments with better cash-flow. I've been over-dosing on BP podcasts for the last several weeks which has given me LOTS of ideas! Planning to join some local meetups in the near future, hoping to also start building my "Core Four" in other areas. I've been thinking mostly of Detroit and Reno to start. All my properties today are SFR, but interested to start looking at small MFR, perhaps moving up into larger buildings. Looking forward to connecting with you all on BP!

Cheers,

Kevin

Congrats you are off to a great start.

The multi-family units will give you significantly better cash-flow than SFRs in the bay area if you decide to look locally.
