Hi BP Community,

My name is Andres and I'm writing to you from Houston, TX. I've been listening to the BP Podcast for several months and figured it was time to increase my participation in a community that has given me so much. 

As a native Pennsylvanian, my life in Texas began in 2013 shortly after graduating from Penn State University. I worked for several years as Engineering in the oilfield services industry, but took a sharp turn and now find myself working as a tax consultant in the Galleria Area (Houston). 

My interest in Real Estate was recently piqued in the past year, and I've gradually surrounded myself with as much information as possible. While books and podcasts can help provide a solid foundation, my focus now is to meet folks in the REI community - what better place than the Bigger Pockets Forum! I really do look forward to continuing my journey and meeting many of you along the way!
