BP newbie in Nashville, TN

Hi BP,

I joined BP a few months ago but it has taken me some time to write my first post. Originally from Philly, I moved to Nashville in 2016 and have grown very fond of the city. I'd like to buy a home in April or May of 2018 and would love to take the house hacking approach and find a duplex.

I'm not very familiar with the Nashville real estate market, other than it is super competitive. There are some sections of the city (like some parts in North Nashville) that I imagine would be good areas to look at, but those are assumptions. I would really like to meet some folks in the area who have experience investing in this market. If you're in the area and are involved in real estate investing, I'd love to buy you coffee sometime and hear your thoughts.

I welcome any tips you all might have for someone looking to get started!

Thanks!

Tony
