Hello BP! It's about time I make this post, I've been on Biggerpockets for a few months now and just been reading as much as I can. I am 21 years old and currently work in the medical field as a Respiratory Therapist. As much as I love helping people, I just don't see myself working in this profession for the rest of my life. This is my first job EVER and I never had the chance to work a regular minimum wage job, and truthfully I don't like working for other people. Sure I am making great money at my age,but this job was controlling my life and I finally gave in and looked for answers (Biggerpockets). After listening to some podcasts, I found my "WHY":Financial Freedom. I plan to build a portfolio consisting of cash flowing rental properties, taking advantage of exponential growth. I am currently working on building a strong foundation (educational/financial) before i start. I have a goal to purchase my first house hack within the next 12 months...And just continue to save and reinvest the cash flow + earned income to accumulate as much rentals as I can thereafter. Thanks.

Hey Jerome! Good for you. Man, if I had started at 21... one can wish!

I love your financial freedom goal, I also hate working for other people, and my parents are out that way in Redlands. Just be cautious on the numbers once you started digging into properties (hopefully LA will crash and open the window wide open for you to get a killer house-hack deal!).

    You'll do great!

Ali Boone Thanks! I'm a math guy so running numbers is the fun part, ha. Anyway, I will definitely make sure to have a strong grasp of the math before I buy. I have been watching the webinars and playing with the BP calculators as often as I can.
