Just Getting Started
I've been reading all the books and Internet articles I could for about the last 4 years or so -- flipping, rehabs, middle-man, and rentals. As I get older (I'm 40), my tolerance for risk goes down. So, I've decided to start focusing on rentals within 3 - 4 miles of my home.
Even with all my reading, I feel like I know nothing about the subject -- probably nerves about looking at my first property tomorrow. At this point, I think I'm just looking as I haven't done any of the calculations, I don't know what rent is in the area, and all that stuff.
Anyway, I wanted to say hey to all, and let you know I'll be reading through all these forums to see what I can soak up.
I'm in St. Charles county in Missouri, which is about 40 miles west of St. Louis.
