I currently rent half my house and have an awesome tenant.  My cousin right next door is moving and I'm thinking of buying her house as a rental.   One side was built in 1968 and never updated and is TINY.   The other side was added on about 10 years ago and is really nice and spacious.  2 car garage.    Each "side" is a complete apartment.   Should I try to rent it as an in law apartment or two separate units?
