New Member Welcome Wagon
With thousands of members now, the Forums here at BiggerPockets have become a true resource for real estate investors. In an effort to make our site even friendlier, I'd like to officially ask everyone to try their best to help out and become a member of the welcoming squad.
This is not an official group, but a set of volunteers who will, when they can, make some of the newer members feel a bit more welcome here. Respond to the New Member Introductions. Ask these guys and gals about themselves.
Engage one another.
I get more and more emails of late from investors who have linked up with one another to network and do deals. This is happening every day. Getting involved can only help you open the opportunities up.
Thanks everyone for your involvement, and to all of our newbies, WELCOME!
Nice idea. I will try and help the welcome wagon when I am online.
Great Idea!
I've always thought it was the new member's duty to perform
welcome wagon duty. Kind of "pay your dues" sort of thing.
Besides, new people like to be greeted by other new
people so they know that they are not the only newbie
on the block.
Sounds good. I'll try to take part in this.
Great Idea! Count me In. I'll try to welcome new members as much as possible.
Great idea. Looks like you've got quite a few people on the wagon. Cool. The site looks great! Lots going on lately. Well done.
Ive only been a member for a few days now, but I'll do my best to help anyone out with anything ... :-)
I just became a new member, and I will jump right in and do my part.

A newbie from Summit County Colorado looking to learn and stay alive in this investment market. A realtor friend/member said you are the best, and I need the best.
Howdie do everyone.
Thanks for all putting in a helping hand. I'm a newbie here and have been on an Australian version and wanted to expand my reach to International waters. So just a quick G'day and thanks for all your efforts.
My name is David and i am new to the real estate journey that you all have been apart of. I have frequented this site for a week or so and have finally decided to become a member. yay me. Anyways i am currently residing in augusta, ga (home to the masters national golf tournament, exciting isn't it) I am 21 years old and son of a military family. Don't get me wrong, i have no quarrels with being part of the U.S. military but i know that is not the path i want to take. I have been a military brat al my life and have seen many different countries and have met many a different type of persons. I have been interested in real estate for the past 2 or 3 years and am wanting to start asap. Just earlier today i made a 10 year plan for myself that i feel is completely realistic. I just need to get started. Well enough of running my mouth to you vets. I just wanted to introduce myself with a decent intro that tells you a little about myself and i can't wait to get to know you folks a little more. Cheers mates. -David-
Hi.
Thanks for welcoming me to Bigger Pockets.
I glad to be here to learn and "mingle" with others.
thanks.
Hello!
Thank you for a great Forum for all things Real Estate. I am looking forward to making this place a hot spot of my Daily online trolling. I am from Cali. and I love to educate and to be educated!
Thank you.
Good suggestion James.
It does make a big difference to the new people when their announcement is acknowledged. Just a simple welcome will do. If there is something about their profile that catches your eye then ask. It will warm up the conversation.

Dick, James, John, and the rest of the regular welcome squad -
Thank you so much for your time welcoming people to the site. It really does make some folks feel more comfortable on the site, and does help breed a form of camaraderie. I hope we can continue to build the welcome wagon so that new members can't help but feel the warm and fuzzies after signing up and introducing themselves.
Anyone else care to take a few minutes out of their day and welcome newbies?
Thanks Josh.
Community is all about the people and their interactions. Once you get critical mass you get sticky behavior (people keep coming back).

Hi. I'm a new member. I am a real estate closing attorney in NC. I am happy to help with any NC legal questions regarding closings, title issues, etc. I handle a lot of investor closings in NC.
Thanks!
MPark,
Two suggestions.
Start a fresh thread where you introduce yourself.
Second, tell us your full name. It is easier to ask you for help if we have a name. Also update your profile as much as is possible so people know more about you and how to reach you.
