Hi everyone!

My name is Karen.  I'm new to the site which was recommended from a friend.  I've been in love with real estate since buying my first home in 2003.  I always thought you had to have money start investing in real estate but I'm finding that's not true.

I inherited my mom's condo back in 2010 and was originally intending to sell it.  My frame of mind wasn't good at the time and I was afraid I'd regret selling it.  I needed to pay her mortgage so I instead rented it out.  I've been renting it for the last 5 years and it's been going fairly well.  I wasn't intending to be a landlord but I am now. Also, my partner and I moved in together so we are also renting out her condo as well.

Well, that's the extend of my current experience.  I'm really hoping to learn about the various ways of making money through real estate.  I would love to try to flip a house but I've heard it's very hard to find deals good enough to actually make money so I'm also on this site to find out more about wholesaling and any other ways to make money in the market.  I'd love to quit my job and do this full time.
