Hi all! My name is Richard and I'm a new investor located in the Orlando, FL area. Really looking forward to getting to know as many people as I can and growing together. Would love to connect with people from my area if there's anyone on here who's from around me!

@Richard Lopez Welcome! A great place to get started would be checking out the local REIA. I am on the board at CFRI (Central Florida Realty Investors), the local chapter to the national REIA and one of the largest in the country.

We have about 20 meetings a month on a variety of topics from beginners to multi-family to flipping. Everyone there are volunteers and most are local to Orlando. We cover 6 counties in Central Florida, so you'll have plenty of networking opportunities with other local investors and all types of business members that offer every service you could need.

Looks like Sean already told you about cfri. You may also be interested in checking out my REI local which has two meetings every month. One on the first Saturday of each month. Our next event is October 5th and another one on Thursday evenings each month. The next event this week. The community here tends to be really supportive, so don't be afraid to reach out if you need anything.

Richard, welcome to BP. there are so many great resources in this community. There are great ways to learn here and great tools to use. But I agree the connections that you can make at the local REIA is also a great way to build momentum. I am a member of a few and try to make meeting as much as I can.
