I am looking for Airbnb STR coaching/mentorship, are online communities worth it?

Question

I am a rookie and do not have much experience in real estate apart from buying my condo a few years ago. I am an engineer, so I am coachable and I am interested in the field. So, I was looking for mentorship/coaching and stumbled upon some of the courses below. I looked at some of their free videos before booking a call with them.

From their free videos, it seems like the model works, and people make money from it. I do not think that I would generate a 10k cash flow in the first month and am keeping my expectations real. So, I was thinking of joining one of their paid courses. Do you all think it is worth it? If someone joined and can provide some recommendations or reviews about some of the courses/coaching/mentorship programs available, such as

Those seem very pricey and it just takes money away from your down payment. You can find all the info you need on this forum and by asking current str owners, as most are happy to help. Do reach out with any questions. I’m certainly not an expert, but i do own and manage four and would never pay for a course.

I know some people here are happy with their course(s) and some are good, some not so good.  I am of the same mind as @Jeff Langley that you can get just about every question answered here.  You can also reach out to people on here and/or others in your target market and ask for mentoring.  I mentor several people locally and a few out of state.

I have to agree with @Jeff Langley you will save a lot of money and still network if you visit the STR page here everyday.  In terms of networking, this definitely helps.  You can also search your area to find investors who have similar interests.  Save your money and put it toward systems built around your property.  Trust me you'll need liquid cash from your STR.  I am only speaking from experience, but I really learned a lot by working closely with my property manager who manages a lot of properties in my area.  The caveat is that they only get paid as long as you get paid and you can constantly asked them questions as it pertains to your property.  Ultimately, experience really is and always has been the key to the castle.  If you get thrown so many resources and information at once, I feel it sometimes could leave you stuck without much willing action to take.  This is just my personal take.  Take the free resources provided here and on podcasts.  Research your market of interest and do the analysis.  Stay skeptical when presented with grandiose numbers too.  Best case scenarios can happen, but often don't happen.  Best of luck!

@Jeff Langley I am a member of several masterminds/communities, including a few that are focused on STR. I don’t really join for the knowledge anymore since most are repetitive (though I do find myself still learning all the time as strategies evolve), but I mainly join for the networking to surround myself with like minded people.

The next tier, around $15,000, offers limited support from a dedicated team to help you implement the strategies. The premium package, priced at approximately $30,000, includes a full-service VA who handles all aspects of your business, including closing deals.

Hey @Joyesh Kakkar, I am a current member of the 10xbnb Community. Like most paid classes they offer a wealth of knowledge and resources that include Email scripts, Cold Calling Scripts , Contracts for PM and Cleaners, Different resources for lead generation, Business Brochures, Data Analysis tools similar to AirDNA that gather Comps and ADR (also Prospect/Relator Reports ), Private Fb Groups with live Townhall meetings to interact with other members weekly, limited access to success coaches, and the list goes on. Now, I personally am having challenges because I am a novice like your self and have not closed a deal yet , I started in the beginning of October, and the cost for me is pretty expensive because of my current situation but the resources are so valuable that id hate to walk away after spending do mush money on startup like the website, LLC, Domain, and all other legal/professional entities.
