STR analysis sites for buying
Hi all, where can I go to find data on purchasing a STR? I know there is Airdna but it costs money. Is there anything out there that helps me find something that has 70% occupancy+.

Unfortunately I do not think there are any free resources. I provide AirDNA data to my buyers for free as their agent, so maybe find an agent that has it in your market. If not, I would recommend purchasing as it is worth it compared to a large investment you are about to make...

Hey @Nathan Frost. You are going to have to dig yourself. There is no one stop shop for all STR info.
AirDNA has some advantages but can be skewed pretty far off.
If you know where you want to look, just hit up AirBNB and VRBO and see what others units are bringing in, their nightly rate and occupancy.
Check out https://www.awning.com/airbnb-estimator and run an address of a property to see what all the places are nearby. They pull the same data as AirDNA and it is free. I am sure AirDNA has more info for their paid subscription, but this will give you some kind of idea.
@Nathan Frost I recommend Awning and Rabbu. Both are free, and for my market (Myrtle Beach) are more accurate than AirDNA.
If you want the most accurate and deep data, you'll have to pay for it. There are free sites, but they only pull 3 months of actual data, then their algorithm projects the rest of the year.
