Undisclosed Live auction sale to renter

The house i am renting is going up for live sale auction in 23days also there are repairs that have to be made. Landlord wants us to cont paying the rent. he states he can stop at any time.and that once rent is paid repairs will cont. When i asked for addendum it had nothing about stopping auction or repairs. We have a 3day writ in the lease so witholding rent in escrow not an option i need help
