PM Screening Reports Blacked Out Vital Information

Hello,

Our property managment company states they are advised by Texas Association of Realtor (TAR), before seeing a copy of our rental/tenant screening report, vital information must be blacked out (i.e., DOB, Driver's License, SS#).  Then, forbid us to see copies altogether. We are asking for the Texas law to be cited forbidding property owners from seeing vital information, it's been 3 weeks and still no answer to this question.

The requested reports were due to back to back evictions in one years time, costing us $30K in past rent owed, eviction & attorney fees and property damages.  We have terminated the PM and currently await files and answers.

Is there such a law?
