To all the female investors!!!
To all the amazing women investors on BP! My name is Jenny Cunningham from FL, I started investing in real estate about 2 years ago with my partner (male) and have mainly focused on doing flips while recently looking to get into the rental market as well. As I'm sure you all know being a female in the investing world has its challenges of which I have faced with many with people not showing me the same respect as my partner receives. I did some quick searches but can't find any groups directed to women investors and I want to see if anyone is interested in a female group chat where we can bounce ideas, questions or anything to do with the investing world and help each other out! I think it would be very beneficial for the less experienced investors to get a chance to talk to the experienced investors and hear some of the challenges they have been able to overcome as a female investor. Hoping this can help everyone from the beginner to some of the most experienced. If you're interested please comment here or send me a quick message. I'd love to hear from everyone!!

Count me in!!! I was appalled at the latest podcast. Was I the only one who thought Mr. Short, though very knowledgeable, was behind the times on how he fielded the, "How do you get a significant other excited about investing?" question???

Hello @Adrienne G. Ladies, love this idea! I am not sure if you were aware, however 60% of all the owner occupant buyers in USA are females! I work mostly with investors, and I have brave young ladies buying 3-4 flats and living for free while managing remodeling, tenants, etc. They are fearless! Count me in!
Who in Chicago area will be interested in starting an investing group? I am in West Loop and of course I'll prefer a meeting in the area, however will be wiling to travel to include the suburbs ladies! We can also have a conference call meeting! Message me if you are interested!
@Michaela G. I see your point, and yes, most of the investors that are out there are man. The ladies are quieter and just get things done without being outspoken about it. I know as many ladies investors as man, however they don't talk about much. Also, just because this is a group for women investors, it doesn't mean men can't attend! We want everyone's opinion!
