Questionable Prospective Tenant

Adriana Medina
Posted

I told the prospective tenant I was going to complete a background check and she said it should be clean.  Background check came back with 15 collections (including from apartment complexes.) When I told the prospective tenant application was denied due to poor credit score and too many derogatory marks on credit score, she said her information had been compromised and is willing to show police reports. Overall, I do not feel good about the situation. What should I do?

You can ask for copies of that, but if she knew someone had done that, then she should have been up front and said something.
