Property Management Education/Certificates/Books Recommendations:

Hi BiggerPockets community!

I've been self-managing a single-family rental (SFR) for a while now, and I'm interested in taking my property management skills to the next level. I'm considering formal training or certification programs to sharpen my skills and possibly expand into managing additional properties.

For those of you with more experience, which property management organizations or certifications would you recommend? I’ve come across options like the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), and Certified Property Manager (CPM) programs, but I’d love to hear opinions on which have been the most valuable in practice.

Additionally, any recommendations for resources, books, tools, or online communities that have been helpful for day-to-day management would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance for any insights or advice you can share!
