Best way to collect rent electronically
Hello,
I have my first rental property and I'm wondering how to collect rent online like via ach without paying a fee. Has anyone used the rental manager tool at apartments.com? They claim to not charge any fees but I'm skeptical. What do you all use?
Thanks!

I use apartments.com. Been good so far. No fees and the renter sets up on their end. It's a good management tool as well. NO FEES.. When you add your rental and tenants it emails them and they follow the steps to set up and pay. It does take 3-5 buisness days to post.. but you customize your due date and if you set date back 5-10 days before your actual mortgage is due then there is time.
Apartments.com also tracks operating expenses, income, maintenance, and more. You can run reports for free that follow schedule E for your tax returns. Also you can create your lease free of charge that follows your state guidlines. I'm a rookie as well and have one property! So far I like it.
Hope this helps!
