I'm curious to hear people's choices and reasons for using and/or reasons for not using any of the numerous self-directed IRA custodians out there.

Has anyone ever heard of Midland IRA. I'm just getting started with them and so far they seem great. Extremely responsive and very inexpensive. I get emails regularly from my account specialist and I get return phone calls within 15 min of leaving a message if the call isn't immediately answered.
