Since you are posting here on BiggerPockets and your title says 'Real Estate Investor' - I'm assuming you are looking for a CPA who specializes working with real estate investors? If that is the case then I would suggest that rather than looking at the location of such expert you look at his credential and expertise. There are several experienced accountants here who work with real estate investors and many of them are able to assist clients remotely, the physical location compared to the skills and abilities is of little importance. You may benefit from operating your wholesale business as an S-corp to potentially save on payroll taxes.
You may also be required to file a corporate return for your painting business.

Thanks on your well wishes! At the moment my painting company in which I started with my dad is no longer in operation. I am also no longer focusing in wholesaling, but mostly on flips. I am a active real estate agent in the state of Georgia, but also hold a license in Florida (inactive). I am looking for potential flips in the Atlanta area and the Miami area.

@Marvin Hernandez I recommend Roger Herring, Investors Accounting, who specializes/works with only real estate investors! His office is located at 1755 North Brown Road, Suite 200 in Lawrenceville, GA. I tried to give you his phone number and email address, but BP would not allow it ... Google "Investors Accounting in Lawrenceville" to obtain this information! Roger is also an investor and very active in our local REIA.
