FINDING A GOOD REAL ESTATE CPA FOR A NEW BUY AND HOLD INVESTOR

Hello to all here on BP! I am an aspiring buy and hold real estate investor and have been doing a whole lot of reading books and listening to podcasts and am ready to take the plunge before the analysis paralysis fully sets in. I was wondering if anyone could give me tips, advice, or referrals for attaining a good CPA who is versed in real estate investing and asset protection. My CPA has advised against investing in anything further than a half hour drive from home. I live in Oakland, CA so I am definitely not starting my investment career at these buy-in price points. Out of state TK investing is looking like the way to go and with a demanding job and children I definitely don't have the time as of now to go out and do all of the legwork myself. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
