Real Estate Professional - Advise & Planning

I've been working in commercial real estate over the past 5+ years.  I have investments in Washington DC and Texas.  My investment $$s and time commitment have considerably increased over this time period, and I'd like to optimize my tax position.  I'm interested in developing a comprehensive plan which could involve my business' legal entity structure, use of debt vs equity, types of agreement (profit sharing, operating agreement) and possibly using the IRS designation of a real estate professional.

I would appreciate any advice and / or recommended contacts that could assist me.

Thank you

Mark
