New to Multifamily in Houston. Advice?

Hi BP,

Been a long time lurker and this is my first post. I owe a lot to BP and I’ve learned so much from the forums!

My name is Dominique and I live in the Bay Area (originally from San Diego). Been investing for the last 1.5 years (Phoenix and Cleveland) and I’m Looking to purchase my first multifamily rental (4-10 units) in the Houston area. My parents relocated from San Diego earlier this year and I’ve been paying closer attention to the real estate market out there ever since.

I’d like to get the lay of the land and see if people had any general advice or things I should be aware of.
