Best state for LLC - North or South Carolina?

Hello,

I am a new BP pro member and rookie real estate investor. I live on the NC/SC border with my residence being in SC. I plan to invest in real estate in both states but primarily in NC. This will be a home-based business. Does anyone have any recommendations with regards to which of these states is best for starting an LLC?
