Checking How Well Property Insurers Pay Claims

Does any neutral third party keep records on how well insurers pay property claims? We are looking to shop our insurance and compare apples to apples. It seems like how well a company pays claims should be a good factor to select candidates for a new insurer. I would like to err on the side of paying a bit more to an insurer that actually provides insurance than to try to shave off a little dough and be stuck in a constant fight to collect on legitimate claims. Farmers has been good to us, but I just want to keep them honest.

Any advice is appreciated. SFRs and MFDs are both in scope. I am also trying to segregate JUST the property claims in the analysis if possible. I'm not really interested in how well a company pays car insurance or other claims. Just property ;-)

Any advice is appreciated. The most helpful item would be clear and unbiased third party data instead of anecdotal items. I found some sites, but I am guessing there is better data out there that someone on BP knows all about.
