Asset protection for companies/businesses using LLCs

I'm learning a lot about investing on BP.  Something that I'm kind of surprised that I'm not reading as much about is asset protection.  With that said, I have read some posts/threads where asset protection is considered, but many just disregard it.  I've only read one post where someone replied stating that they use asset protection.  All the rest dismissed asset protection for one reason or another and there are responses that have inaccurate information not only about the LLCs, but about different firms that provide full service asset protection.  So I found the video that covers asset protection from an attorney who is also a RE investor himself.  So check out the video for yourself.  One thing I would respectfully caution is that if someone (i.e. me for example) decides to put off making my first deal because I'm going to put LLCs into place first and that's what I deem necessary to run my business/company, than others need to respect that vice stating that I'm just looking for another excuse to avoid taking that first step.  Say what you want, but my first step is asset protection.  Again, check out this video.  Even if you don't use the firm or this particular attorney, that doesn't make the information any less valuable.  Thanks BP family.
