Foreclosures in South Carolina

Hey BP!

I am currently running a foreclosure acquisitions campaign in San Diego with some success. We are expanding and have a team in Charleston, SC. My data source does not seem to show foreclosures in South Carolina at all. Not because they are not there, but maybe because the data rules are different? Is foreclosure data public record in SC like in CA? If so, how/where do you source these leads? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

 Yes it is. They publish it in the online version of the paper and you can download a spreadsheet. At least in Greenville County.

    @Charlie Tunstall Thank you! Do you know how to get a list of preforclosures?

    I just found foreclosurelistings .com and it shows some properties in preforclosure. I have had much more success in helping people avoid foreclosure in the first 90 days than after they have an auction date. Have you had success keeping a property out of auction after a sale date has been issued?

    @Lindsey Johnson

    Love to pick your brain on what worked and did not as I want to try this in a specific market.
