HI BP - I own some property in upstate New York and just finished renovating and tenanting my newest acquisition, a 4 family in Oneonta NY. A lot of the traditional banks I use will not lend in this submarket.  My goal will be rate and proceeds on the refi.  Any recommendations on who to use in this area?

Cheers,

Zach Feldman

@Zachary Feldman I'm an approved broker with Visio Lending.  They specialize in lending to investors that own 1-4 unit properties.  I can definitely help you.  Message me if you want to discuss it further.

P.S.  I'm from Brooklyn originally and know where Oneonta is on a map, but have never been there.  Is there a particular reason why the lenders that you normally use won't lend there or is it simply because it's outside of their geographic region?

@Zachary Feldman I have a few properties in Oneonta and use one of the local banks. They have been great. Happy to share contact details

@Zachary Feldman I had a contact at community bank I’m happy to share. I wound up using my lender here in NYC for the transaction, rates were a bit better.

Congrats on the deal! Would you mind sharing who did the work for you up there? Been looking for someone who can help with a rehab.
