Buying from the courthouse steps- what should I know beforehand?

Looking for my first deal with no known investors aside from myself. I'd like to take a shot at the BRRRR strategy, and the foreclosures page seems like a great place to get my first cheap deal. What are some things that experience has taught any of you when you were in a similar situation? What should I know and what should I look out for?
