Redfin “insights” a way to scare sellers!

Hello,

I often do come across Redfin insights on homes on sale these insights are different from the listing description and their written comments specifically highlight all the pros and cons of a listed home and if the emphasis is more on the cons of a listing it may as well negatively impact the sale price of home.

The buyer does his due diligence anyways but this added commentary from a third party nowhere related to the sales proceedings can make prospective buyers prejudiced even before they come and see the property. This sometimes makes me wonder if Redfin subtly tries to scare sellers to list through them. While I do like their 1% only seller commission, listing through them mostly feels like a FSBO. I am interested to hear opinions from other experienced members on this topic.

Thanks
