PA in Minnesota, As-is purchase
Buying a vacant home for a good deal In my neighborhood.Got my lending and construction loan set. I have not been using a relator as I have been working with the owner directly. I am at the point were we have agreed on the price and I will cover the closing cost. I can use a relator for 1.5% ($2,454) to facilitate all the paperwork for the transaction before it goes to the title company (PA doc, As-is doc, etc...) I am also considering doing the paperwork myself finding the document templates.I am purchasing in Minnesota and am new to this process.
Wanted to get feedback on if I should go with a relator to facilitate or DIY the process. What are the legal issues that could pop up if I go diy but have all the proper docs.
Also feedback from anyone in minneapolis would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,Jason

I live in Minneapolis. I personally would lean towards using an agent. Especially if you are questioning your plan of attack. Go with an agent until you are comfortable and knowledgeable on how to do it properly solo.
