REI Reply - Too Good To Be True?
Wondering if any wholesalers or other investors have used this software service, REI Reply. Seems too good to be true and wisdom tells me that it probably is. But hey, maybe they've cracked the code or something. I think this is a relatively new service, just kicked off in April.
https://www.reireply.com/
Has anybody used this yet and have results that they could share? If it's legit, I might put it into my toolbelt.
Thanks BP Homies!
@Tucker Cummings sounds good. I look forward to it!
All these people encouraging me to REI Reply on a Friday at midnight. Is this how investors party?
Also I’m just stoked to be on the front page of BP #goals
@Jay Johnson wasn’t necessarily the 49/month so much as is someone about to take my information and pay for a dream vacation without me lol after seeing all he responses and now Susan jumping in. I’m much more open to it.
They are legit! And the reason you're seeing so many of us signing up to biggerpockets to vouch for REI Reply, is because we are loyal paying customers who LOVE David and Susan - not because we're paid, but because they totally deserve it! There is no trial as far as I know, but there is a money-back-guarantee if you don't love it. And they accept PayPal, which for me says "Buyer Protection" - which is what helped me cut the skepticism and try them out, and - WOW! DO IT!!!!
@Tucker Cummings Nope. Definitely wasn't insulted. Like I said in my comment. Your comment was just bizarre. This was your bizarre comment, "Anyone else getting the sneaking suspicion that REI Reply hired someone in the Philippines to make several profiles on BP and try to promote their service??" That comment of yours raises the question, "What's this guys motive?" Motive always originates from the heart. Motive always speaks to ones character. So I would encourage you to just consider your "motive" with that comment. And to answer your question... no. It doesn't seem sketchy to me because I'm one of the people who is using the service and I'm one of the people who posted a review which makes me also one of the people you are referring to as sketchy. And nobody is forcing you to give your CC to anyone you don't want to. That's NOT what this is about. As I challenged you to do in my first comment I'll challenge you to do again in this comment. Rise above the noise and "live in the question". A great first question for you to start with would be this, "Hey Chris any idea why all these positive comments came in on this thread today?" That wouldn't be more of an enlightening discussion now would it rather than accusing someone you don't know that they hired people from the Philippines to effectively lie on this platform. Lastly, nobody is shaming you. You'll have to own that one on your own. Furthermore, nobody is critiquing your initial question. It was a totally legitimate question and still is a totally legitimate question. You're getting two different issues happening in this thread confused it seems. The critique of you is still your bizarre comment about the Philippines. That's the second issue which is different from the first that being your initial question. Just consider for a moment you're the owner of REI Reply who has been working your *** off to build something valuable. This something valuable is what helps you provide for your loved ones. You're an honest, sincere individual just doing your best to make your way in the world like the rest of us... and then someone jumps on a thread like this and makes the comment you did about the Philippines. Try to remove the sideways emotion you're feeling and consider it objectively. How would you respond to the Philippines comment? And lastly... if you want to give REI Reply a try and are too concerned about giving your CC just contact me. I'll pay for your first month.
@Tucker Cummings I have no experience with this platform, but after reading this thread I'd be lying if I said my internal radar wasn't going off while reading this thread. I have to agree with @Dan H. on this. This may be a totally legit product, but there is a difference between vouching for something you've used and overselling the heck out of it. The fact that so many of these posts are from people who've never (or minimally) posted before and they are overselling it, even to the point of offering to pay for your first month, is suspicious. Personally, I would disregard most of the posts in this thread and contact the company to vet them out for yourself and form your own opinion.
@Scott Passman Agreed, and that’s what I plan on doing and am setting up a call with the support person.
Truly don’t understand why some people are getting so upset about having a cautious feeling about a new product lol I guess it’s the way of the internet.
This thread has been helpful , is this the same software that seconds b4 the call shows you the callers info and property ?? Also ive been trying to figure out if i can drop Dealmachine and Propstream for Propelio they have a d4d intergrated in to their system what are your thoughts? James Saif called me about Calltools which is a dialer a little outta my budget right now but any thoughts on that would be appreciated as well.. thanks bp family!!
@tucker Cummings, I wish my burn rate was only 49 when I got started... I didn't know BP's worth was in the number of posts someone had made. Maybe why I follow for the education...
@w phillpots, you're thinking of REI Rail. And while yes, you could drop DM and Propstream for Propelio, it still depends on what features you feel work best for your business and budget. DM is nice, but very expensive for what you get. I dropped it for Propelio because better real time recognition of d4$ and Propelio tells you what's going on with the house next door in addition to the platforms other features. Don't sleep on Propelio Academy either. Quality content for free similar to BP, without the vanity number of post ideals. Lol...
Propstream will give you more detailed info on a property, but if you learn your market's county appraisal and tax site, you should be able to get that info for free. PS makes it organized in one space and look nice. They also source their info from Core Logic, the same company Listsource uses. I use REI Automator, Sean Terry's white label version of PS for it's offer Automator and the list automator, inbound list scrubbing features. Call tools is nice, you just need to have a lot of numbers for it dial. If not, it could turn into a high cost real quick. My suggestion is partnering up with someone who has tools you're interested in trying and create a value exchange between the two of you. My guy has access to batch skip tracing and lead stacking, call tools, and Propelio and I have Listsource preferred rates, Idi data, Rei Reply and Propstream. We rotate on skip tracing cost and any lead we work together thru our systems is split 50/50. Hope that helps.
Definitely seems sketchy...especially all these "self help" answers and quoting Mother Teresa.
I use Propstream. Super responsive. Plus they give you 14 days free trial.
Carrot has great customer support too and money back guarantees.Neither had to spam forums to market.
If this isn't willing to do a free trial for an ongoing need software, I'd be wary.
It is only $99, but it may be a PIA to cancel...
no users of a brand new product flock to a page all at once to defend a product.
even Google doesn't have that loyalty :)
@Joe Cassandra the only sensical response to your comment is that you're wrong on three fronts. Front #1: Propstream is not a CRM so it's irrelevant to this thread. Propstream and REI Reply compliment each other. Anyone who has looked into REI Reply seriously would know that. Front #2: When did honest people leaving their honest review on a product become the definition of SPAM? If you were to read all the comments in the thread you would easily conclude myself and other users of REI Reply did not show up here on Bigger Pockets to "market" REI Reply. We showed up here to "defend" a great product from bizarre comments like yours and the others. You'll notice the honest customer reviews you're labeling as SPAM did not happen until AFTER the bizarre comments started showing up from people with ZERO experience of the product in question. Front #3: It looks like for the FIRST time in recorded history users of a brand new product have flocked to a page all at once to defend it. I'm honored to be part of making history right here on Bigger Pockets. :)

This thread is now a piece of humor. Hey, anyone know anything about REI Reply? Sure, mass responses from multiple accounts with all less than 5 posts ever on BP. Yeah, this definitely makes sense. Then, flippant and backward responses by the company and people who love it so much. This thread, in and of itself, explains that anything in REI that seems too good to be true, is. If you like a system, but never use BP, you don't make an account or start posting just because of a CRM. @Tucker Cummings don't feel bad. This is the SPAM of SPAM now, especially if you read the whole thread. Laughable.

Sounds like this is one of the companies that specializes in sending the nonstop SMS spam:
" Hi NICKY I wanted to follow up on your property on 4010 WHATEVER RD would you be interested in selling?"
This spam absolutely breaks federal law, and any company who specializes in sending out illegal text blasts will very likely have very questionable morals about other things, like fudging their advertising on large forum websites. Plus you're just blasting people that have already gotten a ton of blasts before by now.
Remember that adage about the ones making money during the gold rush were actually the shovel sellers?
Well I only have about 8 post and I’m researching all of these softwares and most of the things I’m hearing across all the fb groups and real investors in my community believe that the product is really worth it also from my brief review , I’m leaning towards it being legit ,now this seems to be a bit more than just a product review squabble this seems to be more hazing and older experienced people in our industry upset about the harder ways that they had to do things to get the results that new comers are experiencing.Theres enough out here for us all no need to let your teeth show . Some ppl just wanna get to better their lives as you did , instead of deterring and conspiracy theories. Let’s work together so we can make sure we are all on the same accord and don’t give what we do a worst name than it already has . Spam or not the services look like they deserve a shot. Your neighborhood newbie soon to be National.....
@w phillpots, as a newbie, which I consider myself 19 months into investing, but not new to entrepreneurship, you have to understand quickly that a lot of people won't embrace your newbie status into this space, especially when you come with a mindset of leveraging technology, automation, and anything online related to conduct business that's adverse to that archaic models that didn't allow space for everyone to succeed, let alone participate in. It's easier to condemn and disparage tools and people they know nothing about and choose not to. Par for the course. People don't know what they don't know.
I just want to say beware positive product posts from members who just joined /have one or 2 posts..... most likely these are fake reviews ;)
@Mary M. I can 100% assure you these are NOT fake reviews. We are real people with real businesses. It baffles me why some people on this platform seem to believe if you have a small number of posts that somehow that means you have no credibility. I for one have been following bigger pockets for many years and just decided to make my first post on this thread to defend a great product from people making bizarre comments like yours.
To everyone that is skeptical that all of these posts are real, dont try it. Matter of fact I hope you don't because REI Reply gives investors a leg up and honestly I'd like to keep it to the little group we have now because we are killing it with this program and I definitely don't want my "competition" to have the same leg up we have.
But since the owners have been so amazing to me and my business and clearly many others and have an amazing product we wanted to support them. That's it 🤷🏽♀️
Oh and yes, I joined bigger pockets just to support David and Susan (REI Reply)
@Tucker Cummings
I was just about to say the same. Every profile has no info about the person.
This is a way more novice wannabes can send text in mass to muddy the landscape. I’m Getting these text all the time and block those numbers.
Haha.... having fake profiles up voting businesses is business marketing 101... and while low post count may not be a meaningful metric, the manner that folks are posting is a big red flag to anyone with scam alert set to “high”

@Chris White that photo is not even clear of you. You've been lurking on BP for years, but just decided to nail a blurry photo and start posting to defend a product? Hopping into forums and chastising long-time BP users for questioning the validity of a product that gets mentioned once is literally hilarious. This will go down as a viral thread that will be laughed at for years, no matter how many real or fake people (none with filled-out profiles) come in to say it's good. Whether it is good or not is no longer the point. This thread speaks to the SPAM of the product and the community using it. No one was active and now they are raining down on BP like hell is on fire because someone said it didn't seem legit? That is literally the definition of shady. Goodnight.

Google's first-page results on Chris White REI Reply. Nothing. No mention of anyone who runs the company on the website and offers of free first month for video testimonials all over the website.

To everyone in this post.
My intent behind creating this was just to open a discussion and find a 3rd party review. I see on the website there are reviews and testimonials, but in a world where you can buy followers and reviews, I’m optimistically cautious (hence my original post saying that it sounds like a great service and maybe they’re cracked the code) and somewhat skeptical about anything on the internet. Whether it’s a vacuum on Amazon or a service to help my business. I, like many others in this business, have been scammed out of thousands of dollars before, so please before you judge us for raising a red flag, please understand it comes from a place of protecting our businesses, the ways we provide for our family and secure our futures.
I also see there are those on the veteran side who join my caution. Reasons for the company not being around a while, the marketing tactic of users spamming the post, etc. I’ll say that I’m convinced these are real people, but still think the multiple posts from new user profiles that have never posted before warrants any investors suspicion. I don’t think that’s on them, they were directed here and believe in the product. I didn’t intend for this to be the amazon review page for the system, but here we are. On the other objection, for not being around for a while and having the CEO and Support staff reach out, I’m not sure if this warrants negativity towards the company. I used to work for a start up, we sold maintenance software to big oil and gas, chemical companies and other big producers. At the time of that companies inception, the CEO drove himself from Exxon, to Chevron, to BP and basically sold it door to door until it was successful. Less than 10 years later, They’ve now acquired 10+ other companies and are valued at nearly $2B. Privately Held. We all start somewhere.
I say all this to say that I can see both sides of this and I'm sorry for starting a name calling debate, of which I was also a participant. As an update, I'm meeting with the CEO of REI Reply on Monday. I can circle back and give an update afterward. I think that's the only logical thing to do, rather than throw gas on the fire of this post.

@Tucker Cummings schedule that meetup on Zoom and see if Chris White, the person in the photo, appears. Just because there are testimonials and allegedly real people flooding this forum does not mean it is real, good or bad. The fact that they could be activated so quickly for such a regular post on here (people ask about companies all the time, you did nothing wrong) is the exact reason that it is highly likely that the business principles involve the same type of spamming.
