Stubborn sellers on FHA loan
I recently put an offer in on a house. And it got accepted! But when the home inspector came Through and did his thing, He notice that there was a lot of stuff that FHA is going to ask to have fix. Broken hand rails, missing plate covers. One of the big thing is the hand rails. They're metal. And beyond repair, but just need to be taken out and replaced. The seller isn't budging much on helping get stuff done that was neglected on their end. They have said if I wanted I can go in and fix stuff we all know isn't going to pass the FHA inspection, I can.
But i dont have the experience, nor do I have the tools.
So my question is?
Is this a common practice? Is this something people have done and it's worked out? Or hasnt?
Please help!
